How to Book

To hire the minibus you will need to telephone the office on 0118 975 7320 to ascertain whether the minibus is available on the date, and at the time, required. If nobody is in the office when you call, then leave your name and telephone number on the answering machine (24 hour service), and somebody will call you back either the same day or the next weekday.

Once a date and time has been agreed with you, a provisional booking entry will be made in our Booking Diary. you will be sent a Booking Form for completion. This Form must be returned to arrive within 14 days, otherwise the provisional booking entry will be deleted and the date and time will become available to somebody else.

During the period between sending out the Booking Form and it's return, the office will locate a volunteer driver for your journey. should a situation arise, whereby no driver is available, you will be notified accordingly.

Upon receipt of the completed Booking form, and subject to a driver being available, the entry in the Booking Diary will be confirmed and an Acknowledgement sent to you. Our volunteer driver will be notified of the precise details of the booking as specified on the Booking Form.

It is important that the Booking Form clearly states how many, if any, occupied wheelchairs will need to be clamped (maximum two), to enable seats to be removed accordingly and stored.

An invoice will be sent to the hirer at the end of the month of hire. Payment in settlement should be sent to the office.

As a small charity, payment is requested within 14 days of the invoice date.

Gratuities to drivers are at the discretion of the hirer.
